If you are using a Sat. Nav. to find Link House it may not take you directly to us and you should be prepared for loss of satellite reception.

By Road:

From the M6 junction 40 at Penrith take the A66 west towards Keswick. Continue on the A66 towards Cockermouth, with Bassenthwaite Lake on your right. At the far end of the lake is a short stretch of dual carriageway. Take the first right after the dual carriageway (signposted Dubwath and Castle Inn) and follow this road as it bears round to the left. If your Sat. Nav. tells you to turn right, ignore it. Link House is on the right before you come to open fields.

From the west, take the A66 east towards Keswick. Approx. 5 miles past Cockermouth turn left (signposted Dubwath and Castle Inn) and follow this road as it bears round to the left. If your Sat. Nav. tells you to turn right, ignore it. Link House is on the right before you come to open fields.

From Carlisle, take the A595 signposted Keswick and continue following signs to Keswick onto the A591 until you reach the Castle Inn. Turn right onto the B5291 signposted Bassenthwaite Lake. Go past Armathwaite Hall and over a narrow bridge and then turn left, again following the sign to Bassenthwaite Lake. Go past Bassenthwaite Sailing Club and turn right before you meet the A66 main road. Link House is on the right before you come to open fields.

By Bus:

The X5 bus from either Penrith station via Keswick or from Workington via Cockermouth stops right outside Link House. The bus stop is called Dubwath-Brathay Hill. The X4 bus stops at Brathay Hill which is approx. 600 metres from Link House.
